Q: What is Restorative Reproductive Medicine?
A: RRM focuses on diagnosing and treating reproductive issues by restoring, supporting and optimizing the natural function of the reproductive system.
In conventional care, the focus is on treating symptoms — so you’ll receive a birth control pill prescription to stop painful periods, for example.
The difference with Restorative Reproductive Medicine is that we ask “Why?” every step of the way. Why is your cycle painful? Why are your hormone levels off? Why aren’t you ovulating?
And then, we can treat the underlying cause of the symptom, rather than simply trying to get the symptom to disappear. This involves working with your body, rather than against it — supporting your body’s own design with treatments tailored to your specific situation.
The result? Healthy cycles return, hormones level out, ovulation resumes, fertility improves… and you feel better.
